A Los Angeles native, Rebecca Riskin began her career selling homes in L.A.'s exclusive Westside after sustaining an injury while dancing with the American Ballet Theatre in New York. In 1990, she moved to Montecito and quickly became a prominent figure in the local real estate market. After over 30 years of experience, Rebecca holds an extensive knowledge of the market, compelling negotiating skills, and has a knack for securing deals. The industry and her clients associate Rebecca's name with honesty, sincerity, and passion.
After earning degrees in History and Sociology from the University of California at Davis, Dina Landi started off her career working in public relations and integrated marketing for Lexus in Los Angeles. She arrived in idyllic Santa Barbara in 2004, and, after acquiring her real estate license, found a perfect fit with Riskin Associates. Dina enjoys the gratification her work brings her, and couldn't be prouder of the team’s impeccable service.
By the time she graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Sarah understood what a uniquely wonderful place the area is. Having delighted in real estate throughout her life growing up in Southern California's Laguna Niguel, becoming a licensed agent was a breezy decision for the now 16-year Santa Barbara resident. Sarah and Rebecca affirm that, upon meeting, they instantly clicked. Sarah loves connecting with clients on a personal level, and thrives on the team’s unified approach.
After a semester abroad while earning a Marketing degree from the University of New Mexico, Phoenix Smith returned to London to begin her career. Fascinated by the international scene, she decided to pursue an MBA in International Management back in the U.S. before completing a six-month around-the-world tour. After five years overseeing marketing for independent and boutique hotels, she joined Riskin Associates in 2012, finding an instant connection with the team's enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit.
A California native, Sara Freberg found an ideal fit with Riskin Associates in 2013 after graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. After years of reading real estate magazines and visiting open houses as a child, Sara’s love for unique and luxury California homes makes writing about Riskin Associates’ listings an idyllic undertaking.
