The third oldest polo club in the United States, Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club is renowned for its extensive tennis, swim, fitness memberships, polo memberships and social memberships.

The 350-acre ranch overlooks the Pacific ocean and is a premier West Coast facility located only 10 minutes outside of Montecito. They also offer numerous training programs and services for all of your equine needs.
Santa Barbara Equestrian Academy
From the age of 7, trainer Michelle Freels has spent countless hours perfecting her equestrian skills and deepening her relationship with horses. Today, she shares her knowledge and skill through a variety of lessons, public and private, for anyone with an interest in horses, from beginners to advanced riders. She also offers beach riding tours.
Santa Barbara Equine Assistance and Evacuation
With a team of dedicated horse-loving volunteers, SB Equine Assistance helps those who own large animals ensure the safety of their pet in situations of fire or emergency. Upon notification of disaster and need for large animal evacuation, the team establishes a mobile command site and prepares to transport and shelter large animals. They then deploy truck and trailer crews to evacuate the animals to the designated sheltering and care area. They also offer emergency preparedness training for large animal owners.
Sunnybrook Elite Riding Club
The Sunnybrook Elite Riding Club is an exclusive and highly regarded equestrian club catering to experienced riders and horse enthusiasts. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the club offers top-notch facilities, professional training, and a vibrant community of like-minded individuals passionate about equestrian sports. Members of the Sunnybrook Elite Riding Club enjoy access to premium amenities and opportunities to participate in various competitive events and social gatherings.
Ridgewood Farm
Since 1978, Ridgewood Farm has paired, trained, and produced award-winning horse and rider partnerships. Their students pride themselves on their team efforts and well-behaved animals. From local level shows to the national ‘A’ circuit, Ridgewood Farm can accommodate for any skill level. They also offer extensive riding school programs year round for beginners.
Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center
Did someone say horse therapy? Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian center uses equine-services to inspire, motivate, strengthen, and empower people of all ages and abilities. Often, animal emotional support can be very effective in empowering those in poor mental health or therapeutic need. They offer opportunities to participate, volunteer, and donate.
